This has been a tough year for many nonprofit organizations and ours is no exception. For the first time in 6 years, we are at risk of having to pause our outreach program entirely for the upcoming school year.  We currently just have enough to sustain our in studio scholarship program.

In past years, we’ve received triple the amount of grant funding that we’ve received this year. Many funders are describing this as the most competitive grant funding landscape they have ever seen.  The trickle down effect is that smaller rural nonprofits like this one aren’t being funded as readily as in the past. 

We have several grant opportunities open right now, but they require a 1:1 match. If we can raise $10,000, we can unlock funding that would otherwise be out of reach. That's why we're asking for support.
